Iran's Revolutionary Guards Warn US: Military Strike Impossible, Deal Unfavourable

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has publicly declared that the United States faces only two options in its standoff with Tehran — a military operation it characterises as impossible to execute successfully, or what it calls a bad deal — in the sharpest official Iranian framing of the nuclear and regional standoff to date.

The statement, attributed to senior IRGC figures, represents an escalation in rhetoric as US-Iran tensions remain at a critical juncture, compounded by the ongoing closure of the Strait of Hormuz and its cascading effects on global energy markets.

By simultaneously dismissing the military option as unachievable and branding any negotiated outcome a bad deal, the IRGC appears to be projecting maximum leverage ahead of any potential diplomatic engagement, while also signalling domestic audiences that Iran will not yield to external pressure.
