ITP Launches Mobile Facilitation Vans to Bring Police Services to Islamabad Residents

The Islamabad Traffic Police has launched a mobile facilitation van service under the banner of PS on Wheels, designed to bring police documentation and public facilitation services directly to residents across the capital without requiring visits to central police stations. The initiative aims to reduce the administrative burden on citizens and improve service accessibility.

PS on Wheels vans will operate on a scheduled basis across various sectors and localities of Islamabad, offering services such as verification, documentation, and related administrative assistance. The rollout of a published schedule allows residents to plan around the van's presence in their area, improving uptake and convenience.

The initiative reflects a broader trend among urban police administrations in Pakistan toward community-based and decentralised service delivery.
